Final stop before coming back to Aberdeen: LIVERPOOL
Liverpool is one of the cities that I wanted to go to the most in the UK. It has also been voted the third best cities to visit in UK after London and Edinburgh and I have to agree. Hence when there was a cheap ticket available to fly back to the UK to Liverpool instead of nearer cities to Aberdeen, I decided to do a short 1 day stopover. Which I have been regretting because I SHOULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME THERE!!!
Basically this stopover was so short I just manage to cover the 2 main item on my itinerary: ANFIELD and the Beatles Story. These 2 are the most famous export of Liverpool and there are really great and worth going to see but I wished I had more time to visit the other attractions like the museums around (Liverpool was the European Capital of Culture in 2008) and the famous nightlife. Oh wells, I guess it makes for another trip to Liverpool in the future :)
