A Brave and Victorious Journey: Highlights of my Revision Week break! Part 1: IRELAND

Phew just finished my Physics test today and boy was it exactly the same as the past year paper or what!
Haha I only like spent one night looking through it so wheee one down 3 more to go!

Oh did I mentioned about travelling for 10 days before my exam?

First we went to Ireland which I thought would be similar to Scotland and it is cheap to fly there and from there as it is the headquarters of RYANAIR. Turns out the weather was colder at this point of time and I was underdressing a little so BRRRR!!!!

Dublin is a nice cool town with really near flight connections. The alcohol and living prices there are a little too high for my taste though and the food selection was not amazing also with mostly pub food like the UK. Hearty is the word for the food as it is mostly made up of food with lots of meat in them. There are also the nearyby towns of Howth and Bray for some nice cliff walking too.

The one day tour to the Cliffs of Mohen was the highlight of the trip of course. The bus journey was itself worth it itself. Not for the scenery which was flat green plains which was nice but kind of got boring after a while. The tour driver was great fun with telling Irish jokes about his love life with a sheep (LOL!), singing Irish Songs, trying to teach us Gaelic and getting us to write limericks which are kinda poems that soldiers wrote to their loved ones (not sheeps!) When we finally got to the CoM after a long ride, it was really windy but it brings to the majestic Cliffs the feeling of this raw power of nature that accompanies the immense height and monstrousity of the cliffs. You definitely dun wan to look down these cliffs! (FUN FACT: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince used the background of the CoM for one of the scenes!)
